Die-cutter to double capacity at Diamondpak

to achieve ‘double-digit’ growth fi gures in 2016. “There is a growing demand for our products such as internet postal packaging, and protecti ve transit packaging, many of which require intricate die cut designs,” Davies said. “This latest investment means


that we can handle larger-scale die cutti ng than ever before and eff ecti vely double our capacity due to improved running speeds, faster set ups improved machine


availability”. He added that since 2012, the


company has achieved 15-20 per cent growth each year and expected to conti nue that growth this year. Set up in 2008, Diamondpak has


carved a niche as a pioneer of the ‘peel and seal’ book wraps, which have become the mainstay of online retailers, making it one of the UK’s fastest growing corrugated packaging manufacturers.

The die-cutt er is the latest in a number of investments for Diamondpak, which acquired a large format TCY casemaker for large, box work and pallet boxes at the end of 2015, and acquired Cardiff -based competi tor Atlanti c Box the same year.
