MARTIN SHORT It’s an unpredictable and undeniably fun night, when multitalented and multifaceted comedy legend Martin Short joins Pacific Symphony for a hilarious evening of song, dance and laughter. Short has won fans and accolades in television, film and theater since his breakout season on Saturday Night Livenearly 30 years ago. The Emmy and Tony award-winning actor is best known for his scene-stealing roles inFather of the Bride and Three Amigos. “I’ve worked with Martin Short on several occasions in the past and it’s always a complete joy,” says Principal Pops Conductor Richard Kaufman. “His incredible creativity and talent is matched by his genuineness and true professionalism. The audience is going to absolutely love him!” In the first half of the concert, television personality Pat Sajak (Wheel of Fortune) joins in the fun with a narration of “Casey at the Bat” and vocalist Whitney Kaufman joins the orchestra to help celebrate her father Richard’s 25th Anniversary as principal Pops conductor. “Martin will bring all sorts of things to our shows,” Kaufman adds, “singing, comedy and undoubtedly some
