BETTE, BABS & BEYONCÉ The Gay Men’s Chorus of Los Angeles (GMCLA) is
taking “diva,” to a whole ‘nother level... As they them- selves say, “Why settle for one diva when you can have them all?”Bette, Babs & Beyonce not only prom- ises a packed concert with songs audience members will know and love, but stunning renditions of music from some of the industry’s most vocal supporters of the LGBT community. Women from Barbra Streisand, Britney Spears and Bette Midler to Judy Garland, Cyndi Lauper, Miley Cirus and Adele, along with many, many more. Featured selections include, Bey’s touching a cappella rendition of “If I Were A Boy” and a piece guaranteed to bring down the house; GMCLA’s version of Janet’s “Rhythm Nation.” Join the more than 240-member chorus onSaturday and Sunday, April 9 and 10, for what is guaranteed to be a sold- out concert at the Alex Theatre in Glendale. Hmmm, 240 gay men singing about divas and their music... Yep, I think they’ll excel at interpreting them all! For tickets and more information, call 818.243.2539 or go to
