Part 2

Go Crazy with Clay! Crazy about Clay sessions at Dartington are open for all ages and abilities. Sessions last an hour and run

from Wednesdays to Sundays during the daytime. Each session costs £8 per person. You can make whatever you want at the Crazy About Clay sessions, within the realms of practicality. There are introductions to basic ceramic techniques such as slip-and-score, coil and pinch, and each student has the opportunity to try working on the potters wheel. The sessions are fun and relaxed and allow each person to work at their own pace. Mary, a graduate of St Martin’s School of Art in London, runs the sessions. She has taught pottery for more than 30 years. The studio is situated next to the Craft Centre at The Shops at Dartington, close to the children’s play area. See www.crazyaboutclay.com for more details.
