EXHIBITIONS 19 March – 13 April (closed Sundays)

TREES: Open Art Exhibition Come and see how local artists have responded to the challenge of producing new works of art in re- sponse to our theme of trees. A Harbour House open art exhibition is always a lively collection of varied work, and gives new and emerging artists the oppor- tunity to exhibit work alongside established artists.

16 – 23 April EXPLORATION: Louise Bougourd is Artist in Residence in the Art Gallery “My week in the gallery at Harbour House is going to be an exciting week full of experimentation and exploration: trying new techniques and mediums, mixing things up and watching the magic happen. I want to develop my practice through trial and in- evitable mistakes. It promises to be a joyous process which I am looking forward to. By letting go and adopting a sense of abandonment and discovery I will inevitably move in a new direction. Come along and share my process.”

26 April – 4 May FIGURATIVELY SPEAKING This exhibition presents four diverse responses to the challenging subject of the human form. Sue Steele, John Weston, Helen Petit and Neil Anderson have taken the life model as the basis for their work, in the tradition of artists throughout the centuries. From a common starting point they have pursued their own direc- tions in a wide range of media. The discipline and scope of working from the live model is still very much alive and relevant in 2016.
