Temecula Valley Garden Club The Temecula Valley Garden Club will meet on Tuesday,
March 8. Doors will open at 9:30 a.m. This month's pro- gram "Cacti and Succulents - Staging for Success" will be presented by TVGC members and Master Gardeners Debra Jones and Linda Powell in preparation for the club's flower show on April 16, 2016. Debra Jones will share some tips to help you prepare your plants for the show. Attractive containers, proper grooming and healthy plants all con- tribute to winning a ribbon and award. Linda Powell will show some interesting tools necessary in grooming your exhibits in order to show them to best advantage. The Temecula Valley Newcomers Club Where New & Established People Build Friendships Have you recently moved to the area or have you lived
here for many years? If you are interested in meeting new people and having fun, this club is for you. The club is a so- cial organization based on friendship, founded in 1988. We have many different kinds of activities. We have card, book, mahjong, movie, walking, lunch and dinner groups. We also do a monthly day trip. E-waste Collection Event March 12 and 13 from 9am to 4pm at Albertsons located at 30901 Riverside
Drive, Lake Elsinore and at Albertsons located at 1103 South Misson Rd., Fallbrook. E- waste collection helps communities dispose of trash properly and avoid using landfills. What exactly is E-waste? E-waste is any consumer equipment that has reached its "end of life " whether
working or not, such as computers, printers, televisions etc. Proceeds from the event benefit camp scholarships for at-risk children, who may not otherwise have a chance to ever experience a mountain top adventure.

Free Parent Support Group Living with the reality that a son or daughter is struggling
with chemical dependency can be an extremely confusing time for a parent. At The Center we understand that the road to recovery is fragile for every member of the family. Many parents express feelings of fear and doubt as they face their child’s drug abuse and have lost all hope that things could ever be normal again. The weekly parent support group is of- fered as a free resource for parent seeking guidance and sup- port. Exclusively for the parent of the child that struggles with chemical abuse or dependency, our support group is the safe place to learn the needed skills to journey the difficult path of being the parent of a dependent son or
