Barons Market to Open Doors to Sixth Location Family-owned grocery store to open its third Inland Empire location in Murrieta
Barons Market, a locally owned, all-natural grocery store, announces the
opening of its sixth location at 40545 California Oaks Road in Murrieta. An 8 a.m. ribbon cutting with the Murrieta Chamber of Commerce and local elected officials launched the opening festivities on Wednesday, January 27, followed by the store opening at 8 a.m. The Murrieta store will join Wildomar and Temecula as the third Barons Market location in the Inland Empire. “As a family-owned market with good
food at good prices, Barons Market’s com- munity-centered approach naturally fits with the tight-knit neighbor- hood of Murrieta,” says Rachel Shemirani, vice president of marketing and daughter of Barons Market
founder, Joe
Shemirani. “This community has a unique culture that requires a special type of grocery store – one that not only opens a location in the neighborhood but integrates into the core of what makes it special.”
Key features of Barons Market include: • Terrific selection of organic, natural and specialty foods
• Collaboration with local farms to bring customers the best quality and freshest produce
• Products cost 25 – 30 percent less than traditional supermarkets. No gim- micks, no sales, and no club cards. Just everyday low prices
• Hot soup bar, fresh salad bar and antipasto bar
• The selection of over 500 gluten- free items is centralized in one location of the store so gluten sensitive customers can easily find them
• With over 400 microbrews, it stands as the go-to craft beer store in Southern California
• Through store design and prod- uct selection, Barons has cre- ated a ten-minute shopping experience for busy customers
• Olive-oil Tastng For its sixth location, Barons
collaborated with Interior Designer Julie Dugas of Studio H2G in
Michigan to transform concrete walls and fluorescent lights into a warm, modern space infused with character from the Murrieta community. “Interior design isn’t just for model homes and high-end boutiques,” says
Shemirani. “Dugas and Studio H2G have brought our store to life with pops of color, ceiling runways, custom accents and, most importantly, rounds out the unique customer experience Barons Market is known for.” With its sixth store, Barons brings more than 35 local jobs to the neigh-
borhood, for which it prioritized hiring locally from Murrieta during a job fair held in December.
