Other improvements made last summer include the expansion of the wood yard and the introduction of a new railway and wagon-loading system. Amongst the equipment used in the upgrade, Andritz supplied a complete pulp drying line with screening plant, TwinWireFormer pulp machine, airborne dryer, cutter-layboy, and bale finishing systems, including mechanical erection and modifications to the cooking and brown stock handling, including a new multi-stage DD Washer to enhance brown stock washing.
