Often underrated as a therapeutic treatment, the SASHA shower can alternate temperatures and water pressures, encouraging stimulation of the cardiovascular and nervous systems. The three SASHA modules have been created to stand alone or in combinations, allowing different configurations that are adaptable to any space. Each module is equipped with a user- friendly touchscreen control system, which enables users to select three programmes that have been developed together with the consultancy of experts to obtain maximum therapeutic benefit.

Combining a Finnish sauna and Biosauna, MOOD provides two aromatherapy experiences in one single space. Finnish, a traditional dry heat sauna, aims to aid a healthy and well-balanced lifestyle and reaches temperatures of up to 90°C, which effectively helps to raise the heart rate, whilst decreasing blood pressure, eliminate nervous tension, reduce anxiety and speed up the metabolism.


For a truly relaxing aromatherapy experience, the Biosauna reaches temperatures of 60°C and provides the opportunity to relax in aromatic oils. The lowered temperature creates a less aerobic experience for the body and essence oils can be added to the sauna to create a sensation of wellbeing and relaxation, promoting a deep and restful sleep to recharge the mind and body.

After experiencing total relaxation and an enhanced feeling of wellbeing during various spa retreats, one Surrey resident decided she wanted to bring the concept of wellness into her own home. So, she asked Dröm UK’s talented team of designers and professional craftsmen to design and install a bespoke sauna and steam room for her in her home. The client also met with the designers in their showroom to select the materials and finishes herself. The walls and ceiling in the sauna are constructed from Aspen timber with medium heat treated Aspen to the benches, skirting and surface of the lounger, which narrows gradually at the foot of the bench to fit the unusual shape of the room. Mood lighting has been installed behind the contoured backrests and underneath the lounger and there is a slate feature wall behind the sauna heater. The floor is covered with resin bound pebble floor tiles, which complement the pebbles in the decorative floor outside the room; a design


sufficient dedicated space for it. Until now that is.


The designers at KLAFS have developed a whole new, radically different sauna design – the revolutionary S1 sauna – a product that reinforces the company’s reputation as an innovator in the industry. Brand new, but already award-winning, the space-saving and futuristic S1 is the world’s first sauna to retract at the touch of a button – just like a zoom lens on a camera. In its fully retracted position the S1 is a mere 60cm deep, just like the average closet. Yet the S1 is a really stylish, high-quality, beautifully designed sauna down to the last detail and with room for the whole family. By pressing a button on the new, extremely compact and slim controls on the front panel, the S1 extends into a ready-to-use sauna in just 20 seconds and is nearly three times as deep. That’s because it consists of three elements which can be completely fitted into each other. And all that virtually silently and synchronously, thanks to the patent-pending

inspired by a similar feature the client saw in the showroom.


The steam room benches, backrest, walls, niche and ceiling are finished with a combination of dark and light blue glass mosaics. The ceiling is fitted with a beautiful colour changing, fibre optic starry sky and LED lights are fitted to the underside of the benching. LED uplights are inset into the shelf area behind the benches where large crystals can be lit from beneath to add a magical atmosphere to the room. Both rooms are finished with frameless glass doors and are controlled with a touch screen control panel.

In this way, a guest bedroom, workroom or living room stays just the way it was wherever the sauna is located. Another big benefit is that the sauna can be moved just like a closet if you move out too. When it comes to design variety, the sauna of the future blends in with the KLAFS tradition too. It is available in three sizes (small, medium and large) and offers numerous trim and panel options.
