When it comes to sand filters, Bosta UK have covered all the bases with two, key brands – Mega and Pentair
MEGA AND PENTAIR BRANDS HELP BOSTA COVER ALL BASES The qualities required by installers when it comes to sand filters can vary greatly. Some look for innovation and the latest filtration methods, others consider sand filters as basic, functioning items with price and reliability being the only deciding factors when it comes to choice. Fortunately, Bosta UK have covered all the bases with two, key brands – Mega and Pentair.
The Mega SMG Filter not only looks fantastic but also offers additional practicality with its unique, large inspection lid allowing easy access. It is produced by a manufacturer specialising in large, commercial sand filters which are distributed globally. This commercial expertise has been applied to create a domestic pool filter of exceptional quality. From the Pentair range, Bosta offer the
Triton and Tagelus Clearpro Filters. The Clearpro filters have been offered by Pentair for several years, standing the test of time and leading the way for advances in sand filter design. Through the use of incredibly strong microfibre laterals, particles as small as 10 microns can be filtered from the pool water. Standard sand filters using 16/30 sand are only able to filter to 30 microns. The microfibre laterals also benefit from 90% open surface area, rather than the standard 50% on traditional plastic laterals, meaning, more water is able to be filtered. This has the
advantage of allowing slower flow-rates from your pool pump, saving on those unwanted energy bills. For crystal-clear pool water the Clearpro range from Pentair is the smart choice.
