29 January Croftstock Te Blueberry
Local musician William Croft died at the age of 30 at Norwich Bus Station on 10th January, leaving behind his partner Sarah, their baby girl and a lot of friends. Originally from Harleston, he worked at Naked Wines here in Norwich and was a stalwart of the local music scene, singing with both Rammerator and Te Future of Music. Come and celebrate this man’s life at Te Blueberry with a night of live music. You’ll be able to check out some bands that Will enjoyed rocking out to like T- Bone & Te Horn, Old Man Lizard and Grimace, as well as enjoy a special one off performance from Te Will Croft All-Stars, bandmates and musical friends of Will's playing a set of covers by Deep Purple, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath & Van Halen amongst others. Entry is free but donations are welcome for Will's daughter Coco. He will be sorely missed.

Norwich, we’re all about the dragons aren’t we? From our iconic Snapdragon heritage to last summer’s Gogo Dragons trail, we just love those fiery flyers. Tere’s a new exhibition at the Castle starting this month which will enflame your passion even further. Inspired by Cressida Cowell’s best-selling children’s books How to Train Your Dragon, A Viking’s Guide to Deadly Dragons was created by Seven Stories, Te National Centre for Children’s Books. Check out some of Cressida’s original notebooks and illustrations, dress up as a Viking and visit the Hooligan village and wild dragon cave. Well up for all of that, me.
