existing clients. I am also very involved in initiatives for our current clients.

Committee. Tell us why you were interested in the DATIA Board and what you hope to accomplish.

AWSI has been a long-standing member of DATIA and I wanted to take the opportunity to get more involved and to see what I can offer in support of DATIA’s initiatives. I have been going to the DATIA conferences since I started working for AWSI in 2011, and quickly learned that it is a great organization. In 2015, I was heavily involved in the DATIA/OGP Oil and Gas Contractor Guidelines as the Program Management subcommitee chair and I got to know Laura Shelton and other members of the DATIA board during this process. Tis term, I hope to assist DATIA with spreading the word about the oil and gas contractor guidelines and accomplish membership goals along with the Membership Commitee team.

Tell us about your company and your current role there.

AWSI is also a conference sponsor; tell us why you decided to become a sponsor and what its done for your business.

AWSI decided to sponsor at the DATIA Conference as we are an active member and wanted to help support the organization. I’m also very passionate about the quality of our service and want to continue to grow our market share. During the 2015 conference at Trump Doral in Miami, sponsoring the bus transportation to and from South Beach was an ideal fit for increasing our brand in a laid back environment. We have received a lot of positive feedback from the 2015 conference and have seen an increase in RFPs received this year.

What do you think is the single most important issue in the drug and alcohol testing industry?

I think the most important issue to address today is the increased acceptance of technology in the drug and alcohol testing industry. We have been using electronic Chain of Custody Control Forms (CCFs) for over four years now and are excited about the future of the industry now that electronic chain of custody forms are accepted by the DOT.

What is something you wish more people knew about you?

Well, I guess one of the more interesting things about me is that I was a NCAA Division I softball player at California State University, Fullerton where I played for four years. Go Titans! ❚
