This is not a decision that councillors took lightly. Unfortunately, local government looks set to suffer more budget cuts in the coming years, and the council needs to make tough decisions to protect services for the most vulnerable as well as keeping the borough a nice place to live.


Mote Park is one of the borough’s greatest assets. These charges would help to make it sustainable, keeping it at the high standard that residents and visitors have come to expect, as well as allowing for vital improvements to protect it for future generations.
