Spooky City Parade Norwich


Ooooh! It’s the annual Spooky City parade! All the most terrifyingly dressed ghouls, witches and goblins will be out on this, the darkest of nights. Start gathering at Chapelfield Gardens at 5pm; the parade starts at 6 and then goes down Teatre Street, Gentlemans Walk and arrives at St Peter Street. Some pretty ghoulish entertainment, freaky foods and a carved pumpkin competition will be going on at the Forum so bring your creation along to be judged!


Te Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade BeWILDerwood


If you’ve got small people living with you, head down to Bewilderwood this Halloween. Meet at the bonfire for a parade through the laser-lit woodland, sneaking a peek at familiar BeWILDerwood characters. Ten wind your way through the woods to build and decorate a truly special lantern of your very own. Meet slitherigrubs, witches, naughty thorneycold spiders and even Swampy himself. Tis stunning show is for all ages; it’s spooky, its spine-tingly but it really isn’t all that scary. 21st October - Sunday 1st November, 10:00am to 5:30pm. Print Studio Print To Te People are putting on a monster event full of terrifying treats for all you ghouls and ghoulesses out there, featuring ‘scream’ printing, ludicrous lino printing from Print Wagon, Halloween games, freaky face painting, arts activities for all ages and a fancy dress competition. Not to mention a bone chilling BBQ from Mens Shed Norwich and sinister sounds from Te Kett's Hill Gang and spectral supergroup Yve Marky Boweagle. 11-4pm, free entry

Halloween Party OPEN


If you’re looking to give it HUGE this Halloween, Open is where it’s at. Not only will top Norwich DJ’s Tropico and Deep Trouble be playing garage, grime, house, hip hop and other truly terrifying tracks, Actual Mike Skinner from Te Streets will be spinning some of his favourite tunes on the decks. Come dressed to horrify.

Can you escape the Dark Beast in the labyrinth or will you stay FOREVER? Keep to the paths in the Forest of Fear and try to avoid the strange figures lurking in the shadows. Clowns have infested parts of the woods and they’re hungry for revenge. Head into Zone 64 East, a Zombie safe facility. OR IS IT? Be careful walking the hallways in Mayhem Manor Hotel…there have been reports of noises and voices coming from the walls. Obvs not suitable for under 12’s, and there are other t’s and c’s you ought to check before you go.

Big Boom! Norwich Castle Fireworks


See you down at the Castle for Norwich’s annual spectacular free celebration of Guy Fawkes. Fireworks 19:30-20:00. Someone pass me a toffee apple and a sparkler.
