It is a tremendous honor to represent California’s 45th Con- gressional District and the people of Orange County in the United States House of Representatives. I currently serve on the House Ju- diciary Committee and the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and am proud to have been elected by my colleagues to serve as the Freshman Represen- tative to the Republican Elected Leadership Committee. As your Congresswoman, I’m working to spur job growth, lower taxes, roll back burdensome govern- ment regulations, and restore fis- cal responsibility. As a member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, I’m currently working on a long-term solution to address our significant infrastructure needs without rais- ing taxes. My proposal would rebuild and invest in our roads, bridges and other transportation- related infrastructure by directing

revenue generated from a high- skilled workers program to the Highway Trust Fund. This idea would spur job growth, expand our economy, and maintain our nation’s competitive edge in inno- vative fields. As the House works to craft a long-term transportation bill before the current bill expires Oct. 29, I am hopeful that my colleagues will take my proposal into careful consideration when exploring funding options. My district office is located

liamentarian. The event is open to all female residents of Villa Park. Sign-ups for the many social and educa- tional activities will be offered, in addition to treats, gift cer- tificate prizes and friendship. Future meetings are slated to include a fashion show, Bowers Museum program and a notable author.
