“Opportunities for new ventures, acquisition, partnerships and expansion – both at home and abroad – are coming to fruition as companies seek to invest and grow after years of downturn.
“We want to hear their stories of success, to understand what drives those management teams, to see how they are maintaining a dynamic approach and using technology to underpin their success, while also keeping a watchful eye on the green agenda.
“Our awards seek to reward those who are doing a fantastic job of getting it right and we look forward to hearing the many, many success stories which we know are out there across the Thames Valley.”
The awards are open to companies of all sizes, with the different categories celebrating the diversity, determination and hard work which
goes on to make each organisation successful in its own field and beyond.
Great leadership skills, a forward-thinking and innovative approach, combined with creativity, innovation and the ability to adapt and embrace opportunities are among the buzzwords that the judges will be looking for in 2015. Demonstrating exactly those were last year’s title holders, which included Fiscal Technologies, Furniture Village, BDO, Accumuli Security, Westcoast and Cofely GDF Suez.
Past winners have spoken about how success at the awards has helped raise their profile with clients and prospects alike, underlined their commitment and passion, provided confirmation that the business is doing a great job and also helped to boost staff morale and encourage new team members to come on board.
In addition to the business-focused categories, once again this year there will also be an award for Charity of the Year, which in 2014 was won by Alexander Devine Children’s Hospice, from White Waltham, near Maidenhead.
Judges will be looking for charitable organisations which have best demonstrated outstanding achievement and service to beneficiaries, shown innovative fundraising ideas and achieved their goals.
Entry forms for all the categories are now available online at
www.businessawards.co.uk and the closing date is September 25, 2015.
The winners will be announced at a sparkling gala awards evening at the Royal Berkshire Conference Centre on November 19. Each year the black tie event is attended by around 350 top businessmen and women from across the region and proves to be one of the big evenings on the pre-Christmas calendar.
With tickets likely to sell out in record time, events manager Linda Morse is already taking bookings for tables. To reserve your space contact her on
