Complete our business survey

How is the growth of Reading and the Thames Valley impacting on your business? Will there be more pressure on infrastructure – and will we see a property shortage and pressure on recruitment?

These are some of the key issues in the latest special survey of business sentiment – under the theme, Taking The Temperature.

In the second quarterly survey run by law firm Penningtons Manches and The Business Magazine, companies are asked some significant questions about recruitment plans, future prospects, and the growth in the UK economy.

New questions are also included on Reading and the Thames Valley – with a focus on the growth of this vital engine room of the UK economy.

Throughout September, business readers in the region will be asked to complete the short survey which will help paint a picture of business conditions in the Thames Valley, and highlight the most current concerns of companies of all sizes.

Another set of questions will give you a chance to comment on data protection. With new

regulations rolling out in the months ahead, are you prepared for the changes?

As a further incentive to complete the questionnaire, respondents will be able to download a free copy of Penningtons Manches’ 2015 report on data protection regulation trends across Europe.

David Murray, publisher of The Business Magazine, said: “We would like to encourage readers to use the survey opportunity for their voice to be heard. When we report the findings of the new survey in the autumn, we want to feature readers’ views. This is your chance to tell us what you think about the current business conditions, and about key issues such as data regulation.”

The winner of the free draw for the first survey is Neil Harrington, corporate banker at Handelsbanken. He joined the bank in 2012 and is based in his home town, Basingstoke.

Neil Harrington wins dinner, bed and breakfast at Stoke Park, the country club, spa and five-star hotel at Stoke Poges.
