27 June After Dark: Samurai Cop Cinema City

Made in 1989 and released straight to video, Samurai Cop has become a cult classic and a sequel has recently been funded through Kickstarter. Described as 'both the best and worst action film ever' it’s an unintentionally hilarious action film that sees tanned, raven haired San Diego cop Joe 'Samurai' Marshall (Matt Hannon) dispatched to stop the drug-trafficking Yakuza cartel, Te Katana Gang. As a special bonus, this screening will be preceded by a video introduction from Matt Hannon. Just incredible. Double denim + mullet’s a must for this date.
