June 2015

orwich, if you’re anything like me, it’ll take you a little while to recover from the second Bank Holiday of May 2015. Snoop Dogg in a Nizzle Cizzle shirt is not something you see

every day in Earlham Park. Nor are thousands of Canaries fans packing out Wembley at a winning match. I think we did pretty good at getting Norwich noticed, right? In fact I’d go so far as to say we are Te Ultimate Shiznit.

But now is not a time for us to rest on our laurels, kids. Outline is gagging to get you right back out there onto the streets of Norwich and continue with our mission to maintain the city’s high levels of rad throughout the year. So here’s wassup in this month’s issue, by which I mean June.

Our cover girl this month is tUnE-yArDs who is all kind of dreamy wonderful. I spoke to bodacious Surrey rockers You Me At Six about growing up in a rock band, and chatted with Balkan/D’n’B/Electro Swing/Nu Rave act Slamboree who headline Norfolk’s own Symmetry Festival this month. We’ve got interviews with legendary music producer Tony Visconti, incredible ex-Kraftwerk drummer Wolfgang Flür and top DJ Trevor Nelson about their respective upcoming shows right here in Norwich. Stunners, all of ‘em.

In other news, you can win tickets to see Tom Odell at Tetford or to Bestival on the Isle of Wight in this issue, or read about the steak the size of an actual human that we ate at Te Reindeer. Read some “totally sober honest guv” words from the Pint Sized Blonde, who’s been supping at the Fat Cat Brewery Tap this month. We done baked up a review of the very bestest fings that happened at the Big Weekend for you too and have included a cheeky little wink of a taster of our monthly live gig reviews.

We sort you right aaaaaaaaaaout, don’t we Norwich? Te sun has got his hat on. Hip hip hop hooray…
