02 June Eddie Argos Tells You How to Form A Band And Become Famous Norwich Arts Centre

Pop music, as we all know, can be an uncertain business. Whilst a chosen few achieve their dreams of riches, world travel and mass adoration, for many a spot at their local battle of the bands is the limit of their fame. Enter Eddie Argos, world-renowned lead singer and songwriter with Art Brut. For the first time Eddie is stepping into the limelight to tell stories that happened along the way while Art Brut became the world- beating-pop-behemoth they are today. Heartwarming story or cautionary tale? You be the judge.

13 June Rattle Baby Disco Norwich Arts Centre

Ooooh I love to love, but my baby loves to dance. If these words from Tina Charles’ 1976 hit ring true for you and your offspring, then get yo’ bad selves down to the Arts Centre for the all new Rattle Baby Disco. With the best dance tunes from the 40s to the noughties, musical instruments, and disco decorations that put Saturday Night Fever to shame, you have no excuse not to “get up off of that thing.” But contrary to what the pop charts tell you, it’s not all about the bass. When little legs start to get tired, they can take a break from dancing and enjoy crafts, messy play and a chill- out/refreshment area. And if anyone has a spare small person about the place, I’ll gladly be their plus one for this.
