18 things to do
A colony of rare Greater Horseshoe Bats lives there, as do various seabirds that nest in the cliffs and harbour porpoises, which dwell in the sea below. The visitor centre features displays about the headland, its wildlife and history. And in one of the forts is the lovely Guardhouse Café, which serves delicious cream teas. It’s dog friendly too! Or, for a long leisurely meal and drink, take a pew on the terrace of the stunning Berry Head Hotel with its spectacular views.
