Sharpham Vineyard is perched on the bank of the River Dart near Totnes offering some of the most wonderful views in all of Devon. They have been making award-winning wines at the family run vineyard since 1981. The vineyard is at the forefront of vine growing and wine making in the UK and is widely recognised as producing some of England’s most outstanding wines. They offer a range of tours to ‘taste the experience’ from a simple self-guided Trek and Taste to a guided Vine to Wine or Vineyard Ramble with their well-informed tour guides. And for those looking for a more in depth tour with lunch, then they offer the Sharpham Experience. Taking in the vineyard, winery and Sharpham House the Sharpham Experience gives a brief history and principles behind English viticulture, a snap-shot of the estate in context and a stunning river walk along the Dart. This is followed by a tour of the winery, a great selection of wines (and some cheese) to taste and topped off with a tasty little lunch and a glass of wine. This one is a real treat for anyone inspired to learn about English wine making, as well as the unique history of the Sharpham Estate. It’s not just their wine but also their highly regarded

12 Berry Head
Brixham’s Berry Head has superb coastal walks and the chance to spot local wildlife, as well as Napoleonic forts and the highest, but shortest, lighthouse in Britain.
