PAIGNTON REGATTA 9TH – 16TH AUGUST Paignton Regatta is a good old-fashioned week of traditional seaside fun, mainly taking place on and around Paignton Green. To mark the 168th year of Paignton Regatta there is a whole host of events happening on Paignton Sea Front. Fireworks on the 11th.
TORBAY ROYAL REGATTA 22ND – 26TH AUGUST This regatta first took place in 1813. A host of events now includes sailing events, rowing championships, funfairs, fireworks, water ski display and a fly past from the Red Arrows. www.

KINGSBRIDGE SHOW 5TH SEPTEMBER Celebrating its 134th year at Borough Farm, last year’s show attracted nearly 10,000 visitors.
Afantastic day out for all the family offering classes in Horses, Cattle, Sheep, Homecraft, Young Farmers, Horticulture, Floral Art and Domestic pets. In addition to this there are over 100 Trade Stands, 70 Craft stands, 20 local food and drinks stands, Kingsbridge Children’s Youth Market, Children’s Pets Corner, Donkey rides, Vintage and Modern Tractors, Live Folk Style Music, a licensed bar and a wide range of main ring attractions. Plenty of free parking and a free Tally Ho bus running from Kingsbridge Quay.

FISHSTOCK BRIXHAM 13TH SEPTEMBER Fishstock Brixham is a celebration of local seafood, food, drink, music and the arts. It was conceived as a fund-raising event in 2007 by an enthusiastic group of people who are passionate about the Fishermen’s Mission and its good works in Brixham. The event is a one-day celebration of seafood, fishing & maritime heritage with public displays of fresh fish, fish fileting & preparation, seafood cookery demonstrations, food and drink sales, music and dance entertainment, artists, artisans and activities for children.
