TORBAY STEAM FAIR 31ST JULY – 2ND AUGUST The main theme of this year’s event is ‘Farming through the Ages’. The organisers’ aim is to have a section of the showground set aside with working and static displays of farm machinery from the 1800s up to the present time. This year, the the oldest horse-drawn bus using stallions from the Lizard will be giving rides around the Showground. For all Organ enthusiasts, they welcome back the Kelders Family with “Victory” and “Locomotion”, the worlds largest travelling concert organ.

SALCOMBE TOWN REGATTA 1ST – 8TH AUGUST Regatta Week transforms Salcombe bringing a carnival atmosphere with fun things to do and watch on and off the water. With sailing events, air displays, processions and fireworks, parachuting teddies and fancy dress competitions and even a sandcastle competition for the kids (and the kids at heart). For a whole week, events are themed on or around the town’s relationship with the sea and there is always something for everyone to enjoy.
DARTMOUTH SHAKESPEARE WEEK 4TH – 8TH AUGUST The Inn Theatre Company presents William Shakespeare’s “The Merry Wives of Windsor”.
