60 year youn an stil cookin… Philip Watts has still more to offer!
“I have lived and cooked in the South Hams of Devon since 1974. I love being here. This is a heartland of beauty and I am proud to have been a driving force in the West Country food renaissance movement of the past 30 years. Being a founding partner of Dartmouth Smokehouse, chairman of South Hams Food and Drink Association, a director of Taste of the West and Banqueting director of Powderham Castle has proven invaluable experience on my journey through four decades of culinary skills and event management. I now invite you to my smaller and more personal catering and party planning centralised in and around Dartmouth.” Philip, having recently celebrated
his 60th
birthday, is now happy to concentrate on cooking quality food for Dartmouth people and the surrounding South Hams. Catering for the Dartmouth Steam Railway and River Boat Co. has been the mainstay of Philipsfood for some years.” The Dart Explorer is an excellent venue for a party, wedding or a corporate event,” says Philip. “I have had nothing but very happy customers in the past 10 years. I look forward to continuing this relationship with the DSR&RBCo.” Local weddings, canapé receptions,
birthday parties, corporate events and town association functions contribute to the popularity of this local business. Most recently Philip has linked up with Serin Aubrey and Simon Entwhistle of Dartmouth Fine Foods. Philip says” I am pleased to be associated with this energetic pair of chefs and their fi ne food .I look forward to working together with them on prestigious events in the future. This year, Philip has got

Exploring our wildlife and aquaculture, the river Dart and Start Bay can provide a uniquely interesting and diverse holiday experience.” says David. “Fresh crab and local seafood will be a lunchtime feature. Philip is a great cook and always looks after our guests
while on board. He also catches plenty of fi sh and can even give you a recipe or two.”
