Donald Fowler became the new
president of the National School Transportation Association. Fowler is also the president of Fowler Bus Company in Richmond, Mo. He suc- ceeded Barry Stock, the executive vice president of customer develop- ment for National Express Corpora- tion, which operates Durham School Services and Stock Transportation in North America. NSTA also appoint- ed four new board members: Linda Bell, president of First Student; Kellie Dean, CEO of Dean Transportation; David Duke of First Student; and Rob- ert Nelson of Dousman Transport.

Megan Carey, a member of the business develop- ment team, will now be focusing exclusively on the pupil transportation team. Carey has nearly 10 years of practical, problem-solving manage- ment and sales experience prior to joining ALC in 2007.Teresa M. Anderson and Bill Martin also join the team. Anderson brings 19 years of pupil transportation experience, with a background as a scheduler, special needs transportation coordi- nator, route manager and director of transpor- tation for Jefferson County Schools and Cherry Creek Schools transportation departments in Colorado. Martin joins as a consultant with more than 40 years of California pupil transportation experience and was previously employed with the state Department of Education.
