PropertyPage update launch at PROPERTYdrum event
PropertyPage, the Facebook property search app for estate agents and property professionals, is set to announce their latest update at the PROPERTYdrum National Conference & Expo on the 1 May 2012.
The app already allows agents to utilise their social networking, by giving visitors to their Facebook page the ability to search, like, and share properties. However, the new update will see even greater
interaction between Facebook users and the estate agents, with new features such as area discussions that allow potential buyers to see comments and reviews about the local areas they want to move to, as well as vital information about local amenities and transport links. PropertyPage will also be launching a social media consultancy service where agents can receive help and strategic planning in their social media strategies for their entire business. Many of the details to this
update are yet to be revealed, but SOFTWARE Speedy conveyancing with Reapit + MyHomeMove
MyHomeMove and Reapit have integrated their systems, helping clients increase revenue and save time. It’s all down to speeding up conveyancing, where agents usually refer to their conveyancer via phone or fax. With this new integration the agent generates a printed or PDF quote from their desktop and instructs MyHomeMove by clicking on a button in RPS. This simplicity leads to more referrals and more revenue for agents. One user, Andrew Grant’s Managing Partner David Stuart-Smith says, “When

Reapit approached us with this we jumped at the chance and it’s refreshing to deal with two companies that have been so receptive to our additional ideas. “We’ve seen a higher level of referrals and a reduction in the time from offer to exchange; so less deals fall through, who wouldn’t be happy with that?.” MyHomeMove Sales Director
Stephen Hayter says, “This is our most comprehensive integration that we have done and we are already seeing the dividends.”

ONLINE A friendlier experience
at Robinson Jackson Robinson Jackson has re-launched its website in response to buyers increasingly starting their property search online. The online experience for buyers is now more friendly and informative. The website will also be a boost for sellers, whose properties will gain more exposure and prominence. Alan Robinson, co-founder of the agency that has 30 branches and departments across the London and Kent, says: “Searching online is the most popular way of looking for a new home so we realised that our website needed to equal the high standard of service we provide in branch. We want every seller’s home to be seen by as many people as possible and our website is now a major marketing tool. We’re busier than ever, with enquiries increasing all the time, so our website needed to keep pace.” “The response to our new website has been stunning. We analysed traffic within days of the new site going live, and enquiries and visitor numbers doubled almost immediately. Even more pertinent is that over 80 per cent of site traffic is from local buyers and tenants. The significance of this is huge, given that 66 per cent of people buying or letting in London and Kent are from within 10 miles of the property they eventually move into. This means the site is more effective at finding relevant buyers and tenants than nationwide websites, where the user numbers are inflated by people across the UK who are not actually looking in the immediate area.”
