Hyndburn estate agency Keenan’s has given local football team Accrington Stanley a boost by buying the 600th share in the club.
Keenan’s were presented with their
share certifi cate by Stanley’s chief executive Rob Heys. Nicky Keenan said, “We’re proud to support Stanley and we’ll encourage our clients to follow suit. Julian Wadden & Company go the extra mile
Julian Wadden & Company, estate agents in Heaton and Reddish has named The Christie and Macmillan Cancer Support as its charities for 2012. Julian Wadden said, “Sadly we all know of someone that has been affected by cancer and it felt important to the team to fundraise for The Christie and Macmillan this year, not simply through sponsorship but a direct donation from Julian Wadden & Co. Macmillan and Christies have touched and helped so many people’s lives, they do fabulous work and provide
vital support and treatment for patients and their loved ones.” The agency is donating 5 per cent of its
fees from every property they are instructed to sell or let from January to May 2012. The fundraising will culminate in the Julian Wadden & Company teams running the BUPA Manchester 10K. Julian said, “It’s fantastic that both our
offi ces are running, many of us are not natural born runners, so we will be encouraging each other to fi nish it for our charities. Please come and cheer us on!”
