GOOD EATS
Hannah Flanagan’s Irish Pub & Eatery 300 N. Main Street Hendersonville, NC (828)696-1665 Hours: 11 am – 2 am
Me and Hannah’s go back a number of
years. Back in 1996 I was living in Greenville, SC and driving all the way to Hendersonville every Wednesday and Saturday night to play and sing at the bar. Those are some great memories. Lots of work, but I was always try- ing new songs. Pretty much anything anyone asked for. Especially if they bought me a pint of Guinness. Great beer, great fun and awe- some finger foods. spinach, cream cheese, special herbs and spices. Served with tortilla chips. Yum. Mozarella Medallions with marinara; Fried Pickles (careful! These bad boys are mari- nated in Jalapeno before frying!); Potato Skins; Ultimate Nachos.; Breaded Mush- rooms; Chicken Tenders; Jalapeno poppers; Hummus Platter (served with various dip- pable veggies and pita bread). Of course there are always wings available. They have a nice selection of salads if that’s
where your head is at, and all sandwiches are served with Hannah’s home made chips, or you can upgrade to one of a wide variety of sides including the ever-popular French fries; Cilantro Lime Rice, Fried Okra and other de- lights. Their Reuben remains one of
their most popular sandwiches for obvious reasons. Hey, corned beef and kraut in an Irish pub? What’s up? And talk about good with cold beer? ($9.95) I remember that as one of my favorites back in the day. On my most recent visit I had the
Lamb Gyro. I got the half order ($7.95) and I was stuffed and y’all who know me know that if a half
