October 25-27 Pet lovers Pet Expo, Glow Bluewater Visitors will get to see and interact with a variety of pets, from dogs to cats and fish to ponies, as well as reptiles and other furry, cuddly and not so cuddly animals. Interactive seminars by pet experts will be on offer as well as a daily fun dog show that visitors’ pets can enter, a pet grooming showcase, doggie fashion shows, exotics display and details on pet adoption entertainers, clubs and organisations. Steam Gala, The Bredgar and Wormshill Light Railway, Sittingbourne Visitors will be able to take trips on steam-hauled trains, see a large model railway operating, traction engines in steam, ride on tractor-hauled trailers and see classic cars and vintage tractors on these special event days. The sights and sounds of this beautiful narrow gauge railway will appeal to railway enthusiasts and families alike.

October 31 Feed the Birds at Bedgebury National Pinetum, Cranbrook Join a short bird-watching walk at this hands-on family event and find out how to look after birds in your garden in winter, turn a milk carton into a peanut feeder and make a pine cone pasty to take home. 10am-noon.
