Get on your bike at Cyclopark: Europe’s largest cycle centre
Covering 43 hectares of parkland off the A2, south of Gravesend, the Cyclopark can proudly claim to be Europe’s largest cycle centre.
Since opening in May 2012, the centre has established itself not only as a haven for cyclists, but has attracted participants of many other sports and activities.
Cyclopark ethos
Cyclopark was an £8million project to create an attraction offering a range of facilities for all ages and abilities – from dedicated cyclists and athletes to families looking for a great day out. The ultimate aim of this state of-the-art facility is to encourage more people to take up sport. The park offers not just your traditional sports, but also alternatives, making activities easily accessible to everyone.
CycloBMX An awesome 330m track featuring obstacles that guarantee a thrilling ride.
Cyclocircuit A race-smooth tarmac circuit, 2.9km long and 6m wide for cycling, skating and running.
Cycloterrain Cycloterrain is 6km of mountain bike trails running throughout the park, designed by World Cup trail designer, Hugh Clixby. From beginners to those who thrive on the challenge of adrenaline-pumping berms, drop-offs and rock gardens, there is something for all riders.
Cycloskate Skateboarding, scooters and freestyle BMX have become very popular sports. The skate park offers impressive obstacle ramps and expansive concrete ground features.
Cyclokids This is a cycle theme play park for those under the age of eight. It comprises a 3,000sqm cycle-based playground with water, sand, climbing frames, percussion music and a sensory garden, allowing children to let their imaginations run wild.
Cyclofit Cyclopark’s exercise programme offers a full complement of exercise classes.
Cycloplay Cycloplay is a 600sqm multi- use games area where you can enjoy a variety of sports; from a recreational game of basketball between friends to a competitive game of 5-a- side football or other small court sports.
Clubcyclopark Club Cyclopark, the new Go- Ride club, provides coached sessions and events for children of all ages and abilities.
Spin classes Launching in October is a spinning studio. The park plans to run a number of energised classes every week that will offering various routines to assist with winter training, whether it is general fitness or race preparation.

Cycloability Cycloability ensures that Cyclopark provides a fully accessible facility, with a wide range of activities to suit all needs. The park has the largest range of adaptive cycles in the South East.
Cyclocafe Cyclocafe offers a great menu with plenty of healthy wholesome snacks and meals to choose from, whether it’s a light bite or a main meal, catering for all the family.
Velorefined Velorefined is a bike shop that stocks a wide range of road, mountain, BMX and accessories.
Healing Zone Therapies include sports therapy, osteopathy, sport massage, chiropody/podiatry, aromatherapy, reflexology and hot stone massage.
Father Christmas Father Christmas has scheduled a visit for pre-Christmas Eve training. Details are to be confirmed.
On Your Bike
Cyclopark is soon to launch its ‘On Your Bike’ campaign targeting the South East. On Your Bike aims to encourage individuals, young and old, to get on two wheels and learn how to ride a bike, resulting in confident and safe cyclists. This leads on and supports other programmes, for example CycloFemme, launched to encourage women onto the race circuit along with cake and coffee at the end. The campaign will launch with an online programme for both children and adults. The programme is a simple training guide, providing assistance to successfully build knowledge and confidence, resulting in safe cycling. Cyclopark is planning to host drop-in improver sessions to help overcome any difficulties, while teaching the basics of safe riding.
