SECTOR FOCUS: CORPORATE HOSPITALITY

Redefining hospitality

AMPLIFY is the premium concert hospitality provider for the NIA (National Indoor Arena) and LG Arena, Birmingham, offering the very best combination of great food prepared by some of the UK’s leading chefs, amazing seats and ultimate live event experiences.

T

he last 12 months has seen amplify’s top level membership soar, adding major blue chip brands to its books, as well as the business expanding into other event markets such as its hospitality offer selling out for the duration of Crufts. The brand is expecting to see further profits over the next year, through its improved facilities at the NIA and LG Arena and further expansion of its markets.

The NIA is undergoing a £26m redevelopment, with amplify customers benefiting from new restaurants and exclusive seats for events from opening season January 2015 onwards. Two brand new contemporary and luxurious restaurants for amplify members (one seating 300, the other seating 200) will offer a wide selection of informal and formal dining. Both will overlook the new concourse area of the NIA which is being redeveloped to increase space and add to the dynamic sense of arrival at the venue. A dramatic new glass-front façade overlooks the canal and offers fantastic views across the Brindleyplace canals.

The popular private Showcubes have also been refurbished for a fresh contemporary feel.

The amplify air members’ restaurant, located on the ground floor of the LG Arena, has had a significant refurbishment with enhancement of the interior of the facility. As well as benefiting from a premium feel and a contemporary and luxurious dining area, the restaurant features a brand new bar area so guests are able to enjoy a canapé and a glass of champagne before taking their seats to commence the evening’s hospitality.

Teamed with first class hospitality, amplify works alongside a team of award-winning caterers to create everything from informal dining tapas selections to three course à la carte menus with silver service in its restaurants.

General Manager of amplify Sally Walder said: “We are unique in that we can provide award-winning in-house catering as well as first class hospitality facilities at two of Birmingham’s largest entertainment venues. We pride ourselves on our excellent customer service, and this is proved in the amount of re-booking and membership extensions this year.

“The refurbishments made to the amplify restaurant have already proved a hit with current customers, and the new amplify facilities at the NIA are extremely exciting.”

With four levels to choose from; Freestyle, Club and Air and now Club Plus, your evening can be tailored to your exact specifications whether the show is at the NIA, LG Arena or selected events at the NEC or ICC venues.
