POLICY The policy department has developed a strong reputation for intellectually rigorous work and influencing the agenda for business right at the heart of government. The Chamber runs many high-profile campaigns and successfully lobbies both central and local government on key issues affecting businesses, including regulation, transportation, and tackling youth unemployment.
Our flagship report, the Quarterly Economic Survey, remains a key indicator of economic and business trends in the city and has been used by the Bank of England, Birmingham City Council and the Greater Birmingham and Solihull LEP. The Policy department works with a wide
Chamber policy team members Henrietta Brearley and David Bharier
