Curator


Patricia Miranda is an artist, curator, educator, and director of Miranda Arts Project Space, in Port Chester, NY, where she implemented a collaborative workspace residency program. She is Visiting Assistant Professor at Lyme Academy College of Fine Art and Adjunct Professor at New Jersey City University. Recent curatorial projects include Bricolage, an exhibition at Rockland Center for the Arts in Nyack, NY exploring DIY and non-traditional media aesthetics. She served as director and curator of the Gallery at Concordia College from 2008-12, and has been a visiting artist


and lecturer at University of Utah; Kutztown University; Purchase College SUNY, and Con- cordia University-MI. Miranda has developed educational programs at The Guggenheim Mu- seum, Natural History Museum, Metropolitan Museum, and Smithsonian Institute. She has exhibited her work at Wave Hill, Bronx NY; the Belvedere Museum, Vienna, Austria; the Cape Museum of Fine Art; Metaphor Contemporary Art, Brooklyn, NY; and Kenise Barnes Fine Art, Larchmont, NY. She works in Port Chester and lives in NYC.
