Judges Profile for: Tom Saul B.A (Hons.) B.ED.
Tom has been involved with
horses for 38 years, showing, teaching, boarding and breeding quarter horses and paints as well operating a small farrier practice. He has been a senior WHAO judge since 2007. The retired teacher operates a
program for physically and mentally challenged riders at his facility near Petrolia. Proceeds from judging sup- port the riding program. He is an advocate for handi-
capped and volunteers on several com- munity boards. In the off season he provides pulpit supply at local church- es as a Licensed Lay Worship Leader with the United Church of Canada. Tom is happily married with 4
children and one granddaughter. Tom believes in judging “posi-
tively”, supporting and encouraging when ever possible.
