either your firm or insurance offer and you still want to go to university. There is no need to worry as there is still a high chance that you will be accepted into a university doing the course that you want.


Double check your UCAS account first to see if you have been offered a place at your insurance uni on another course (it will show as UCC or ‘unconditional changed course’). If this isn’t the case then you can apply for university through clearing.

I have decided that university isn’t for me You may not find any places that you are interested in through clearing, you might only want to attend your firm choice or you may decide that uni isn’t for you after all.


In this case you’ll need to turn down any offer that you’ve received or simply call UCAS and tell them that


you want to withdraw. Taking time out for a gap year, more studying or even getting a job might actually turn out to be a better option.
