EBREX opens Belgian facility
A Burntwood company has opened a new distribution centre in Belgium which will create up to 20 new jobs. EBREX Business Solutions, an
international transport and logistics specialist, says that the new facility in Olen, near Antwerp, will provide a range of pan- European services including a new direct link to and from the UK. Ian Edgar, EBREX operations director,
said: “The new Olen facility will provide overnight driver-accompanied transport services directly between the UK and Belgium and will offer local exporters and importers a fast, scheduled and reliable route for their shipments. “Although we already had a very strong
logistic client base within Benelux, the increasing number of enquiries for the region convinced us that it was the right time to invest in this important EU market, and Olen for its strategic and commercial location, is a perfect choice for us. “We came to Burntwood in 2010 to start
our first direct overnight service to and from Germany for local exporters and importers and this has remained our flagship service and is hugely popular. “Since then, group investment of our own
international network has expanded into seven countries.”
