2.2 Delegated decisions
Determinations by consents were entered into 2 cases, both resulted in a reprimand.
3 complaints were rejected due to no misconduct or no
evidence, and 1 was rejected as the individual complained of was not a member of CILEx. The conduct of 1 member was referred directly to the Disciplinary Tribunal.
These powers have only been available since 2010. The table below presents a year on year comparison of numbers of delegated decisions made.

Of the 20 allegations considered by the Panel including delegated decisions, 9 were made against males and 11 against females. 45% allegations involving males and 55% involving females.
This equates to The CILEx
membership in comparison is 75% female. The number of allegations against male and females is starting to show a more even trend.
From the information available, of those 20 members: 13 were of white ethnic origin, 6 of black ethnic origin, and 1 of Asian ethnic origin.
This
equates to 65% allegations against members of white ethnic origin and 35% against members from a BAME background in comparison to CILEx membership of 12% from BAME background.
2.4 Interim suspension orders No such orders were considered or imposed by the Panel in 2013. 2.5 Declarations of Prior Conduct
In 2012, IPS received a total of 218 declarations of prior conduct of which 175 were dealt with under the expedited process and 43 were considered by the Panel.
In 2013, IPS received a received a total of 193 declarations of prior conduct of which 135 were dealt with under the expedited process and 58 were considered by the Panel.
