gardener Campbell Williams, now in his 24th year at Mey, Andrew also appreciates the regular help of a team of dedicated volunteers. He is keen to learn as much as he can about the Queen Mother and her garden and would be grateful for new anecdotes or snippets of information. ‘I always liked the garden; I love the sea’s
proximity, even though we’re always struggling against the conditions. It’s been lovely coming back. Eleven years ago I would never have believed I’d be head gardener here.’
