Joana, a postgraduate student from Portugal, tells us what it is like to be a student at Glion London.
Why have you chosen Hospitality Management?
I love people and delivering customer service, and after I completed my degree I decided that I had to study Hospitality Management to pursue my dream. I feel that being able to work all around the world, and at the same time giving the best I have to others, is the perfect match.
Why have you chosen Glion London?
Glion is a recognised institution and it was always in my plan to study in Glion and learn with the best. Glion London was the perfect combination, the professionalism of Glion and London, where there are many
opportunities in hospitality.
What has Glion London brought to you?
Glion is making me grow, is making me learn so many different things and is really making me a better person. Glion also introduced me to what is called the ‘Glion Spirit’ - from the first day I started to feel it. We are a big family and we all support each other, we all have amazing friendships and passion for what we do!
What do you do during your spare time?
I go to the gym, which is on campus, and it is awesome to be with other students there. We organise dinners, visits to museums, theatre, plays or Glion London helps in organisation - the Student Affairs Department is amazing, and gives the students all kind of opportunities to experience what the campus and London has to offer.
