The University of Central Lancashire (UCLan) welcomes over 2,000 international students to study at our Preston campus each year. We have over 500 undergraduate courses and 200 taught postgraduate programmes, a range of scholarship and bursary schemes for international students, and a dedicated student support team. UCLan’s postgraduate programmes are underpinned by world-leading research, innovation and an approach that applies knowledge to solve real-world issues. They are designed to enhance and develop students’ knowledge and skills to an advanced level. Our close links with global businesses ensure that our 200 taught postgraduate programmes meet the latest industry and sector needs - many of our courses are accredited by professional bodies. Opportunities are available in all our Schools to undertake supervised research at doctoral and masters level. With 11 areas of research judged ‘world-leading’ by the UK Government, and a further seven areas graded as ‘internationally excellent’, we have global recognition for our work.
