Tree Students Struck and Killed at Bus Stops Since February

£ Kings Canyon Unified School District, located in California’s San Joaquin Valley, received its first Trans Tech all-electric SST-e school bus in February, and expects three more soon. It is the first modern electric bus to pass all school district and California Highway Patrol inspections and certifications. School officials estimate each electric bus will save more than $10,000 a year in fuel and maintenance costs.
