SEX ABUSE LIABILITY? Recent attention-grabbing headlines are merely a drop in the bucket of sexual abuse lawsuits, but many school districts do not have this type of liability coverage in their insurance policies, said Jeff Carlson, executive vice president of Capacity Cover- age. BLOG: SCHOOL BUS IS 'DOOR TO HOPE'


Dr. Ricky Adamson, an educator at Dallas Independent School District, has some yellow in his blood due to his affinity for buses and the fact that his grandmother was a school bus driver. He writes about how the road to education begins with school buses and school bus drivers, especially for so many children who live in poverty and face personal struggles at home. He also stresses that though most think the classroom door is the first “door to hope” for many students, in reality “it is the school bus door each morning, taking the students on a journey away from troubles and challenges to a place where they could build a brighter future,” he writes.
