benefiting the nonprofit House of Gaia learning center, will be held from April 4 through 6 at Summerland Ranch, in Bonita Springs. Extraordinary Aerial Yoga in Naples

N

aples residents can now add a new dimension to their fitness routine by going airborne. Emilie Bromley’s licensed AntiGravity Yoga studio, in Naples, is geared to enhance core strength, joint mobility, flexibility, balance and more by utilizing a spe- cial suspension element. The AntiGravity Ham-

mock, a structural fabric connected from two overhead points and acting like a swing, facilitates a unique combination of sequenced exercises that compress the spine and align the entire body while stretching and strengthening muscles. The hammock alters one’s dynamic relationship to the ground, allowing for fine tuning of the body via special exercises that challenge the laws of physics. The yoga prop acts as a soft trapeze, providing support as one mas- ters simple suspension techniques, leading to advanced poses. With five hammocks and the addition of Lidy Salvi, a new instructor, Bromley has expanded classes in flying fitness, aerial and restorative yoga and other movement ranges as she enters her third year of operating the boutique fitness studio.

Small-group classes: $35 (private sessions are also offered). Location: 1199 First Ave. S. For more information or to preregister for classes (required), call 239-404-8127, email ECore7@comcast.net or visit EmilieBromley.com. See ad, page 19.
