YOU KNOW AND I KNOW Dear Michael, Thank you for putting the spotlight on De- laney & Bonnie. I can think of no other artist that deserves to be inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame more.

LOVIN’ THE TALL GIRL Michael, Saw Marshall Chapman last night in Chat- tanooga... At an extra small venue, only about 40 of us. I was blown away! What a talent!!! LUV me some Marshall !

With Marshall, “all the world” truly is a stage. I have seen her play to thousands and then play for 15 of us in a book store at her signing, and she is always great. One of a kind! -Buff

LOCK ME UP Hey Buffalo, I finally got around to reading your Prisoner of Southern Rock and just felt compelled to drop you a note. I thoroughly en- joyed the book. Sure, I got a kick out of all the back- stage stories – especially your tales of the Southern Rock Allstars. I have to say that I miss Jakson Spires every day. Time seems to pass so quickly these days. It seems not so long ago that we were

rocking out with Jak, Jay, Charles and Dave. I know the last time I saw you was at Jack- son’s memorial in Orlando. But I enjoyed reading about your life as

much as I enjoyed reading about the rock stars. You have a very special gift for writing Michael. You make me feel as though you’re speaking directly to me. There are no hun- dred-dollar words, and it seems that you al- ways look on the bright side. Thank you for that. I understand that your next book rebel yell will be published in September. I can hardly wait.

Sincerely. Toby Jennings Memphis, TN

Why thanks Toby, I sure appreciate the kind words. And believe me, I fully understand where you’re coming from when you talk about missing Jakson. Best wishes, Buffalo.
