Justin McCorkle (son of George McCorkle (Marshall Tucker) and the late Ryan Winters (son of Donnie & Paula Winters,

mostly traditional country music. It’s going to be made up of songs that dad wrote and I wrote either with Dennis or others or myself. It will have Do Me A Favor that Marty recorded as well as other songs that Marty recorded. I hope to have a Kickstarter cam- paign up before long to help raise the money to get it finished. I’ve been working on it for about a year now with my friends Tim and Danny Carter (The Carter Brothers) at their studio up in Ridgetop, TN called the Tree- house.

What's the best place for folks to find you on the internet? The best place is on Facebook or my website www.donniewintersmusic.com , which I promise to try to update more often.

The old Desert Island discs question. 47

You are on a desert island with an end- less supply of batteries and a CD player but only ten CDs. What would they be. Allman Brothers, At Fillmore East, would be my first choice. I’d probably have to go with Carlos Santana’s Greatest Hits because I couldn’t take all of his albums. Marty Rob- bins, Gunfighter Ballads, Ray Price’s Great- est Hits; Charlie Daniels Fire On The Mountain; Marshall Tucker Where We All Belong; Steely Dan Decades (Greatest Hits); Hank Williams Greatest Hits; Buddy Miller Midnight and Lonesome; Sam Bush Glam- our & Grits •

Special thanks to Paula Underwood Winters for her assistance with this story, and thanks to Roxanne for the prompt!
