Let’s start by agreeing that the objective of any gear we carry on a hunt should be to further our chances of success. Personally I’ve defined this as “having the essential tools to ensure I can com- fortably endure the elements so as to apply maximum energy and focus to finding and harvesting an animal over the entire duration of the hunt”.
