BEST TIME TO CATCH RAINBOW TROUT is early spring and fall, while the bass fishery peaks in the summer season and an emerging sockeye fishery in late summer.


OSOYOOS LAKE RIVALS VASEUX LAKE for large bass; fishing is best in the spring but can be pro- ductive throughout the year in this multi-species lake, for largemouth, smallmouth, black crappie and perch. The Osoyoos oxbows that border the north end of the lake where the river enters, can also be very productive for large bass.


Guests have free access to the boat launch and a variety of services are available on site at the Desert Shores Marina.


Osoyoos offers ATV Trails up Mt. Kobau, guided or unguided. Mt. Kobau also offers hiking trails and hunting grounds. There are other places in nearby areas to hunt as well.


A golf course, winery, spa, riding stable, café and restaurant will complete your outdoor adventure in the region and provide something for everyone in your party.
