Date: December 10th, 2013 Time: 10:00am-12:00pm Location: UTA building; 4181 W. 2100 S., West Valley City Cost: $50 for members, $75 for non-members Presenters: David Saunders Company: Compliance Safety Systems Presenter’s Bio: David Saunders, founder of Compliance Safety Systems, is a 30+ year veteran in the trucking industry.
Mr. Saunders, a man of strong faith, has a passion for the trans- portation industry and its future success and expresses that pas- sion by being an active member in many different associations. David Saunders is known by many throughout the industry as a CSA expert. As a member of the American Trucking Association, Mr. Saunders serves on the Regulations and the FMCSA and Education Committees where he was one of the few selected to serve on the CSA Task Force Committee as well, representing the ATA. He currently works very closely with the executives, FMCSA, and members of congress to ensure that CSA continues to evolve as an asset for the industry. You will find Mr. Saunders traveling the country on behalf of the CVSA, or Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance, as a “roadside inspec- tion” judge at each year’s state and national competitions. As a
CVSA committee member, he commonly travels to Texas DPS Road Check locations to assist in maintenance and CSA education, enhancing the knowledge of troopers for greater inspection quality. Summary of Presentation: Talking points of the details of Map 21,CSA and 360 view and the impact it will have on your business. In addition, how you as a company can prepare for compliance and navigate the waters. Intended Audience: HR Professionals, Safety Professionals, Compliance Officers, and Recruiters.
