TROOPER OF THE YEAR Randy Allred, Utah Highway Patrol


This year’s recipient, Corporal Randy Allred, has been a member


of the Utah Highway Patrol Vehicle Safety Section since 2006 and is currently assigned to the Uintah Basin area. He is respected by all who know him and has worked hard to build a strong relationship with the transportation industry, the motoring public and the com- munity at large. Corp. Allred is continually providing training ses- sions around the basin for trucking companies and is an instructor at the Uintah Basin Applied Technology College. He has been assigned the task of teaching new troopers and local law enforce- ment officer’s basic commercial vehicle enforcement strategies. Because of the positive relationship that this trooper has built with the trucking industry and his constant drive toward safety, compli- ance has improved significantly in the Uintah Basin area. Corp. Allred has dedicated much time to reviewing areas of con-

This year’s recipient is recog- nized for always having a positive attitude and is known to truly enjoy his work as a member of the Utah Highway Patrol. For these reasons and many more, Corporal Randy Allred has been selected as this year’s Utah Trucking Association Trooper of the Year.
